For the 2016 holiday season SSA associates pulled together to support the senior community in Winchester. There are over 120 senior citizens living at either the Fountain Circle Care and Rehabilitation Center or the Transitional Unit at Clark Regional Hospital. This year's Angel Tree was filled with the wishes of the elderly for Christmas gifts. Their requests were varied, from simple staples like socks and pajamas, to items to keep them active and entertained, such as puzzle books and CDs of holiday music. After more than a week of collecting items from associates, SSA happily delivered over 75 presents.
SSA President, Pedro Cordoba, was delighted with the initiative. "I’m thrilled that as a team we pulled together to deliver this many gifts. It really speaks volumes when it comes to the hearts of our associates. I hope that every senior citizen in our local community has a good Christmas this year!" said Cordoba.
